The Niece

We're so happy to have her here for 2 weeks along with her Daddy and Mommy, Josh, David and his special friend Rhoda. This is the first time in 4 years that our whole family has been together so we've been enjoying every moment.

Only three days left until they go home.... :(

Last Wednesday and Thursday

The B's came so Adama could have a violin lesson.....and best of all, Hillary came too! (with Little Jenny!)

We've never played musical chairs with them before and we were bored so we tried it.

It's a great way to warm up!

The focus of the picture? Adama's cute socks. =D

Who will get the last chair??

My friend Katie came over later for the evening. She entertained us with her hilarious way of telling stories and then we played some games. And her dutch blitz cards are nice, not shredded. ;)

Katie is the most amazing celloist. She is absolutely inspiring!

So we played Christmas songs together.

Sally and her lil guy. It was awesome to have you over! ;)

Baking

Mom and Sally making a baby bath towel. They go back aways, as in Mom remembering Sally screaming in her playpen while Sally's Mom was practicing the music for Mom and Dad's wedding. Great memories! =D

Kay taking advantage of 50 degree weather to wash "Gage", her show steer.

And Amy washed her cow, "Marsha" who is supposed to be showed at the preview show and state fair this coming year, Lord willing. Right now everyone looks a little rough but once mud season and winter is over the going gets a lot better.

Strangers at the Door

The thugs that ran out of gas and needed help...

...really, just us being bored. We borrowed some clothes from Dad and Micah, scribbled on some fake beards, mustaches and sideburns and embarrassed ourselves and scared our Amish neighbor when she came around the corner of the garage and found herself face-to-face with some interesting characters that sheepishly had to explain what they were up to. (she picked the wrong time to deliver an invitation and we picked the wrong time to come out of our hiding place.) But since she is so fun, she just laughed and laughed and when she went home she told her parents and they all laughed some more.  And later we did too. (After the embarrassment wore off.) Anyways....did I say that we had a good time?
