Wedding sewing. (Which David and Ro's wedding was Friday and it was so amazing-we're SO thrilled for them) Hopefully we'll be able to post some pictures of that before too long!

We had our friends over for soft pretzels and homemade ice cream. Oh my word. Talk about YUMMY. And fatning. And as usual, the kids are a blast. They especially enjoyed licking every drop of ice cream from the dasher.

Jillian and Emmaline came to stay at our house to do some wedding sewing. I wasn't here at the time but it looks like they had fun. Sewing(!!!), babysitting, walks at the beautiful arboretum, ice cream....

 

 

 

 

 

One of our favorite places...

Friends of ours, a fun, lively older couple live on a neat old farm and raise Shorthorn Cattle. Everyone likes to go there. A huge, old fashioned house, tea and cookies, cattle conversations(only farmers understand those!) a rambling barn, roan cattle...yes, it's one of our favorite places to visit! Especially this time of year when there are plenty of new babies and all the kids want to pick out what calves they want to buy to show and breed. (We've bought several cows from them before...)

A People Post

 Why are we so blessed to have so many cute kids in our life? The little guy we babysit sometimes six days a week has become a part of our life......we enjoy him so much. Dirty diapers, grins, purple marker all over the house, his sign language, little footsteps and happy laughs--everyone loves him!

And the S. family and their adorable kids, kind of like our adopted nieces and nephews.....how we love those little people and their parents!

And lastly, sweet cousins that spent the day to help us sort, pack and move, spent the night and did it all over the next day. You guys are awesome!!
